Department of Computer Science And Engineering

The Department will aim to equip you with the ability and skills to analyze, design and develop computer systems and their applications, with a curriculum that has a balanced emphasis on theory, practicals and projects. The focus will be on development and strengthening systems thinking, problem solving, analysis, design, research, team work, communication skills, and readiness for lifelong learning. The courses run by the Department will use mixed techniques of interactive lectures, tutorials, laboratory work, guided case studies, literature surveys and project work that require team work, critical and creative thinking.

The Department will put considerable emphasis on laboratory work. While laboratories help develop skills of applying various concepts, tools and techniques, their chief purpose is to develop core technical as well as general professional competencies through experiential and collaborative learning. The learning enabled in the labs help develop a student's ability to design and conduct experiments; collect, analyze and interpret data; work independently as well as in teams; and critically to improve reporting and communication skills.


Department of Electrical And Electronics Engineering

EEE is the oldest of the engineering streams, and its applications are many. ABIT provides this important course for the undergraduates, and there are many benefits in joining it.

Department of Electronics And Communication Engineering

In tune with the academic philosophy of the University, the Department's curricula for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs aim at producing high quality engineers in the area of Electronics & Communication who can take up challenges in design, development, research and manufacturing.

Students shall undertake courses in Basic Sciences, Mathematics, Basic Engineering as well as in core subjects of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). The programs shall be fully supported by laboratory facilities which shall be set up in a phased manner. All laboratories will be equipped with state of the art instruments and software tools to enable students to perform designoriented experiments and test their designs by simulation.


Department of Mechanical Engineering

In a way, Mechanical Engineers are involved in creating the future. They are the driving force behind many of the technologies and industrial processes in our modern world. Mechanical Engineering will be offered to train manpower with quality education in manufacturing, design, automation and thermal sciences. Students will have adequate flexibility to specialize in areas of their  choice through selection of electives and project.

The course will be designed to provide students with adequate exposure for hands-on experience in practice and in design. It will lay emphasis on subjects like Flexible Manufacturing Systems, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Robotics, Tribology, Composites and Laser Materials, Energy Engineering, Finite Element Methods etc to provide them to take up positions in manufacturing, design, energy generation and conservation and R&D.
