About Department
Mechanical Engineering is considered to be one of the most diverse and versatile of the engineering disciplines. Mechanical Engineering contributes to modern standard of living and almost all products of modern life have contributions from mechanical engineers. The Department of Mechanical Engineering in ABIT was established in the year 2009, offering under graduate course in B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The prime objective of the course is to advance the students with a Sound knowledge and educate in Mechanical Engineering Principles with implementation of Outcome Based Education to meet the needs of academics & industries. The Department provides facilities for students to learn advanced technical skills through different Centre of Excellences. Our experienced faculty members stay updated in their fields through various research and consulting activities. They have published a good number of research articles in International / National Journals and International / National Conferences. The faculty in the Department interacts closely with industry enabling the graduates completely successful. .
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2008 with an intake of 60 in B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Consequently, the intake is increased to 120 in the 2010.
Department is equipped with well-qualified and dedicated faculty members to train students towards their holistic development. Currently, there are 06 members of faculty with a Ph.D. qualification in the department of the best engineering college for computer science.
The department provides students with learning mechanisms to develop Computing Systems and Software. Students of this B.Tech. Computer Science College are facilitated with high-end computers, servers, libraries with the latest Titles, NPTEL Courseware, and Journals alongside High-Bandwidth internet to facilitate effective learning.
Students are imparted with training in cutting-edge technologies through Seminars, Workshops, and Guest Lectures alongside Technical Symposiums/paper contests; and co-curricular and Extra-curricular events through the technical associations of the department. Strong mentoring by the faculty members to monitor student progression and personality development.

HOD’s Message
Computer Science & Engineering is the field which deals with analyzing, designing hardware, software and operating systems for a computer system. Our students are trained in Programming skills, software design, Integration of Hardware and Software. The Department of this best engineering college for computer science has well equipped laboratories with 400+ latest Computers, Servers and latest software’s like Oracle, Rational Rose, MATLAB, .NET etc. The Central Computing facility and internet center with a speed of 60 Mbps which are managed by the Department.
Various international and national conferences, seminars, guest lectures, workshops, webinars and training programs on like spoken tutorials – IIT, Bombay, Smart Hackathon India, IoT and Block Chain Current Technologies , Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning etc are organized for students and faculty. Industrial visits and internship trainings are arranged by this B.Tech. Computer Science College for students to expose real time applications. The research work is carried out by the faculty along with students in the areas like Soft Computing, Green Computing, Image Processing, Cloud Computing, BigData and Data Mining.
We are having Institutional Professional body membership like Computer Society of India (CSI) and IEEE Student Chapter.
